Bahati who`s original full name is Kevin Kioko, is a Kenyan secular artist, a father and husband who originally was a Gospel singer. He is an orphan living in the streets before rising to fame from his first hit song, “Siku ya Kwanza” and “Mama” in 2013.

Bahati is a Kamba born in Kitui, Kenya on 22nd December 2024. Additionally, being an orphan at an early age, he grew as an orphan, in a home in the slums Mathare in Nairobi.
Bahati is a singer and musician of Gospel and religious songs from Kenya, but now he sings secular songs. Bahati started music in 2013, when he released a popular song called Day One.

He studied at Nakheel Boys High School in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado and later completed his education at St. Theresa Boys high school in 2011.
Career
Bahati musical career journey stated way back in his high school level, where he participated in a solo performance at a National Music Festival in Nakuru in 2010. Later in 2011, being a talented a guitarist he sung
In 2011, he represented his school, St. Theresa Boys High School in Eastleigh, where he sang and played the guitar and still caught attention. Soon after completion of high school education he visited J Blessing a Kenyan popular music producer and video director. J Blessing brought Bahati to the limelight by producing popular songs “Siku Ya Kwanza” followed by “Mama”.
Bahati before leaving gospel industry he had owned EMB records label, where he had signees like Mr Seed, David Wonder. His brother Kioko was his manager by then. But later the record label didn`t last long, it closed and ceased operation.
Bahati has also delved into politics career where the career flopped mercilessly, later returned to music.
Family
Bahati is an orphan having lost both of his parents. He has an older brother known a s Kioko, who was his manager in his previously owned EMB record label.
Relationship
Bahati`s first wife Vyette Obura , is a mother to a beautiful daughter Mueni to whom they co-parent though not leaving together.
His current wife is Diana Marua, a drama actress, contemporary singer, popular YouTube and content creator having over 1,000,000 subscribers. Together they have four children, Heaven, Majesty and Malaika an only adopted son Morgan.

Bahati owns a four bedroom maisonette in Kamakis, Ruiru Northern By-pass, bought at approximately Ksh 27.5 million.
He has gifted his wife Diana B, a couple of expensive gifts including a piece of land, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado TX. He also owns a Mercedes Benz E-Class and a Range Rover Sport in his car collection.
